Steven J. Tighe, PE, sits on the Board of Directors
and Co-Chairs the Legal & Technical Committee of Rock the
Earth. He has provided Environmental Regulatory Consulting, Engineering
and Program Management Services to industrial clients since 1990.
Steve has managed or participated in well over one hundred environmental
compliance projects including air permitting, dispersion modeling,
and pollutant emission estimation/inventory projects; source reduction/pollution
prevention projects; Right-To-Know Reports And Toxic Release Inventories
(TRI); Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans
(including revisions required by new 2002 SPCC Regulation); storm
water and industrial wastewater permitting; hazardous waste site
closure management; pollution prevention planning; and regulatory
agency negotiations.
Steve has directed multi-disciplinary technical staff in many
different projects, and has project management experience in numerous
states across the U.S. He has assisted many clients in optimizing
their environmental compliance activities within their operations.
Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers
University, College of Engineering in New Brunswick, New Jersey
in 1990. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the states
of California and New Jersey.
