| Jeff Hansen sits on the Fundraising Committee. From
2004-2006, Jeff was also on the Board of Directors and served
as the organization's Vice President. In addition to his Rock
the Earth activities, he is a Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular
Biology at Colorado State University, where he teaches undergraduate
and graduate students and directs a biomedical research laboratory.
Jeff's research program addresses chromosome and genome function
in health and disease. Jeff holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from
the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a B.S. in Biology from Oakland
University, and performed post-doctoral research at Oregon State
University. Jeff is a member of the American Society for Biochemistry
and Molecular Biology and the Biophysical Society, serves on several
federal and private grant review panels, and sits on the Editorial
Board of the Journal of Biological Chemistry. |
