| Barbara Ross, Esquire |
Barbara Ross is a member of the Board of Directors
of Rock the Earth and serves on the Fundraising Committee. Barbara
is also an attorney with experience in the areas of estate planning,
charitable giving, trust and estate administration, and nonprofit
law. The majority of Barbara's legal work has focused on assisting
individuals and family business owners with the preparation of
estate and business succession plans. She has counseled clients
on various tax and planning issues and prepared the related documentation
to implement these plans, including wills, trusts, charitable
trusts, powers of attorney and living wills. Barbara has also
worked with nonprofit organizations, assisting with a range of
matters including the formation of organizations and obtaining
federal tax-exempt status. Barbara received a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts at
Amherst, cum laude in 1992, and received her J.D. from the Penn
State Dickinson School of Law in 1995. Barbara has been living
in Colorado since 2004, and loves living near these big Rocky
Mountains where there’s so much to do!
